Read
Midnight Library - Matt Haig (Amazon)
Reminder to myself: Write a list of regrets. Short book but I couldn’t stop trying to figure out what life Nora was going to choose. 8/10.
The Four Winds - Kristin Hannah (The Elliot Bay Bookstore, Seattle, WA)
The first historical fiction I’ve liked in a while could.not.stop. 9.5/10.
Magic Hour - Kirstin Hannah (Amazon)
I loved that it was set in the Olympic Peninsula. Prepare to cry towards the end. 7/10.
As Simple As Snow - Gregory Galloway (A Little Free Library, Ballard, WA)
One of those with no real ending but a thrilling mystery - reminiscent of Thirteen Reasons Why. 7/10
The Guest - Emma Cline (Books Are Magic, Brooklyn, NY)
Great book, I would have taken in the dog too, however another one of those with an anti-climatic ending. Love the cover art though +1. 6.5/10
Apples Never Fall - Liane Moriarty (A Little Free Library, Ballard, WA)
I was really excited to read this however, unpopular opinion - it reminds me of how I felt during the Barbie movie. It was kind of all over the place. A lot of things felt like an afterthought. 6/10
Listen
I'll feel like throwing up
You'll sit and stare like a goddamn machine
I'd like to plan out my part in this
But you're such a narcissist
You'll probably do it next week
I don't get a choice in the matter
Why would I? It's only the death of me
Now my tummy hurts
He's in love with her
But for what it's worth, they'd make beautiful babies
And raise 'em up to be a couple of
Fucking monsters, like their mother and their father

Into the trestle granite like it was our grave
And I would die to see you
The way we were that night

A Man Called Otto (film)
Good but sad. Makes me think of our neighbor Ben.
Elemental (film)
I’m so glad I paid $22.00 to own this, will watch it again.
Post Malone Tiny Desk (YouTube)
I love the acoustic versions. Post Malone’s debut album got me through the toughest breakup. I Fall Apart - Holy Shit.
